Your partner will actually start to feel what you are feeling. If someone is feeling panic and fear they are going to feel more distant. Also, they might think you are crazy if you are freaking out.

You have to be strong and stop the cycle of pain and abuse in your relationship.
Over time, all relationships have a cycle of pain and pleasure. You have to reduce the pain as much as possible in order to succeed. The best way to avoid this mistake is to walk away from your partner when they are provoking you. Do not make the argument bigger by throwing fuel on the fire.
